Thg APC PNETR6 1-Outlet Surge Suppressor module protect the ports of a network interface cards, hubs or other local area network (LAN) equipment from damage caused by electrical transients over a Cat5 or Cat6 data line. This module provides surge protection for 10Base-T, 100Base-T4, 100Base-TX, 100VG or Token Ring Type 3 UTP port (RJ-45), and VOIP standards and applications. It is also compatible with 1000Base-T/Cat6 and IEEE 802.12 Ethernet standard, Cat5 and Cat6.

Data-line Protection - Protection of data lines (Ethernet, Coaxial and Phone lines) ensures complete protection of your equipment from surges. It is very important to protect your equipment from �back door� electric surges traveling through data lines, as they can be as damaging to your equipment as surges traveling over power lines.
Replaceable surge protection modules - Allows you to use any combination of APC rack-mount surge protection modules and replace them quickly and conveniently if needed.
