Mirror and Extended Desktop Mode

• Mirror Mode: Both Windows and macOS laptops can mirror their desktops onto one or two monitors.
• Extended Desktop Mode: With two monitors, Windows laptops can show different content on each. macOS laptops must show the same content across both monitors.

Monitor Resolution Support

Resolution support for optional external monitors depends on HDMI compatibility:

• One Monitor (HDMI 1.4): Up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz
• Two Monitors (HDMI 1.4): Up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz per screen
• One Monitor (HDMI 1.2): Up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz
• Two Monitors (HDMI 1.2): Up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz per screen
