Asus RS700-E11-RS12U-16W10G Barebone System
The Asus RS700-E11-RS12U-16W10G is a new barebone system designed for high-performance computing. This 1U rack-mountable system supports two Intel Xeon processors (Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze) in a Socket LGA-4677 configuration. Powered by the Intel C741 chipset, it accommodates up to 12TB of DDR5 SDRAM with speeds of DDR5-4800/PC5-38400 across its 32 memory slots.
This system is equipped with both Serial ATA and NVMe controllers, offering flexible storage options. It also features an ASPEED AST2600 graphics controller with 64 MB of dedicated graphics memory and supports Intel Optane Memory.
The RS700-E11-RS12U-16W10G offers extensive expandability with twelve internal 2.5" bays, one PCI Express x8 slot, and three PCI Express x16 slots. Network connectivity is provided by an RJ-45 port for Ethernet. It also has four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one VGA port, and two M.2 interfaces.
This system is designed for demanding workloads and is compatible with various operating systems, including Windows Server 2019/2022 x64, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SuSE Linux Enterprise Server, CentOS, and Ubuntu Linux. With two installed power supplies supporting a maximum wattage of 1600W, the RS700-E11-RS12U-16W10G ensures reliable operation even under heavy load.
