Based on a modular concept, AXIS FA51-B allows for easy integration and highly discreet surveillance. The sensor unit is sold separately and can be installed pretty much anywhere. This UL recognized barebone component is designed to be integrated into a UL certified product - ideal for customers who want to integrate into other devices such as public viewing monitors, ATMs, and ticket machines. Sold in packs of 10, AXIS FA51-B helps reduce packaging, handling, and costs. Furthermore, it's delivered without a casing allowing for airflow around the component and simplifying temperature management.
Deterrence and security
Featuring an HDMI output, AXIS FA51-B lets you connect external devices such as a PVM (Public Viewing Monitor). It includes AXIS Face Detector offering a proactive way to reduce shoplifting. When connected to a PVM this cost-effective main unit will highlight faces within bounding boxes and let would-be thieves believe they're being monitored. When installed at store entrances it also helps you to optimize the security resources needed in-store. Furthermore, it offers one configurable input/output port so you can connect external devices for instance to activate lights, open/close doors, and trigger audio messages.
High performance
AXIS FA51-B supports one HDTV 1080p video stream at full frame rate to deliver excellent video quality. And, Forensic WDR provides clarity when there's both dark and light areas in the scene. It's compatible with all AXIS FA sensor units including IR sensor units, so you'll enjoy high quality video even in complete darkness. When connected directly to a PVM it offers lower latency and reduces the risk of network issues. Axis Zipstream dramatically reduces bandwidth and storage requirements. Furthermore, Axis Edge Vault protects your Axis device ID and simplifies authorization of Axis devices on your network.
