Broadcom 2x2 802.11be Wi-Fi 7 enterprise access point chips - BCM43720
The BCM43740 is a 4x4 IEEE 802.11be Wi-Fi 7 MAC/PHY/radio system-on-a-chip (SoC) device, and the BCM43720 is a 2x2 IEEE 802.11be Wi-Fi 7 MAC/PHY/radio system-on-a-chip (SoC) device. The BCM43740 and BCM43720 devices can operate in 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands selectively up to 320 Mhz and 160MHz channel bandwidths, respectively. Taking advantage of Multi-Link Operation (MLO) in addition to multi-user technologies such as downlink and uplink OFDMA and downlink and uplink MU-MIMO, the BCM43740 and BCM43720 deliver better throughput, lower latency, and high reliability to commercial grade devices for enterprise networks. These devices are optimized to be used in enterprise Wi-Fi access points.
