The Broadcom BCM87540 is the industry’s lowest-power single-chip 200GbE PAM-4 PHY transceiver capable of driving four lanes of 53-Gb/s PAM-4 at 26 Gbaud, while supporting AOC, SR4 and FR4 optical links inside pluggable optical modules. Broadcom’s advanced DSP technology and equalization techniques compensate for optical impairments while maintaining the world’s lowest power to enable the deployment of 12.8 Tb/s and 25.6 Tb/s switch ASICs.
