The Broadcom BCM8958x family of devices is Broadcom's seventh generation of fully integrated L2+ multilayer switch solutions to support automotive qualification (AEC-Q100) and temperature grade for in-car networking applications. The BCM8958X family of products raises the bar for switches with multiple best-in-class features for the automotive industry, such as integrated security features like 802.1AE MACsec, increased host connectivity bandwidth and Layer 3 routing capabilities in hardware.
