The Broadcom ACFJ-332B driver is a dual-channel 4A peak current, rail-to-rail output gate drive optocoupler, which comes in a compact, surface-mountable SO-24 package with two independent isolated channels for space savings. It provides an isolation voltage of 5000 VRMS between input and output channels and functional isolation voltage up to 700 VRMS between two output channels.
The ACFJ-332B operates with a wide range of input voltage and driver output voltage. It also offers enhanced features such as an input buffer drive with TTL and CMOS compatible logics, an enable pin (EN) to support a system functional safety requirement, programmable dead time between two driver channels, and input power supply under-voltage lockout protection. It also incorporates a miller clamp function, ensuring safe and reliable turn-off of MOSFET/GaN power device.
It features common mode transient immunity (CMTI) greater than 150 kV/μs, preventing erroneous gate driver failures in noisy environments. Furthermore, the new device has less than 65ns propagation delay, enabling high frequency switching to improve efficiency in driving GaN/MOSFET.
The Broadcom isolation products provide reinforced insulation and reliability that deliver safe signal isolation critical in high-temperature industrial applications.
