the ComNet™ CNMCsFP/M is a single channel ethernet converter from electrical to optical and optical to electrical. this device accepts a 10/100 or 1000 Mbps (Megabits Per second) electrical input and converts this to a 100 or 1000 Mbps optical output (selected by a dip switch) and the 100/1000 Mbps optical input back to the 10/100/1000 Mbps electrical output. "auto-Negotiating" is supported on the copper interface side. this device uses either one or two optical fibers, depending upon the selection of soldseparately sFP* optical module.
LED indicators display that the optical Link is connected and that there is Data activity on the channel.
