Suitable for monitoring outdoor spaces such as wilderness areas, roadways, railways, airports, ports, squares, and parks, as well as transit stations and other large venues, the DS-2DF8242IX-AELW 2MP PTZ Network Dome Camera from Hikvision uses a 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor to capture 1920 x 1080 resolution video at 30 fps. IR LEDs provide up to 1312' of night vision. A 6-252mm varifocal lens delivers a 56.6 to 1.7° horizontal field of view. The camera features endless panning, a -20 to 90° tilt range, and 42x optical zoom. Two-way audio is possible thanks to an audio input and output. A built-in memory card slot accepts microSD/SDHC/SDXC cards up to 256GB (available separately). Integrated PoE technology simplifies connectivity by enabling the transfer of power and data through a single cable.
Compliance with ONVIF profiles G, S, and T enables interoperability with a wide range of surveillance devices. This PTZ camera is housed in an IP67-rated enclosure that is suitable for outdoor use. It is equipped with a heater, wiper, and vandal-resistant alarm.
