Suitable for monitoring large outdoor spaces, the TandemVu DS-2SF8C442MXG-ELW/26 4MP PTZ Network Dome Camera from Hikvision combines a PTZ channel and a panoramic channel in one unit. The camera captures 2560 x 1440 resolution video at 30 fps via a 6-252mm varifocal lens for the PTZ channel and 3632 x 1632 resolution video at 30 fps via a 2.8mm fixed lens for the panoramic channel. IR LEDs provide up to 984' of night vision on the PTZ channel, while up to 98' of white light illumination is provided on the panoramic channel. The PTZ channel features endless panning, a -20 to 90° tilt range, and 42x optical zoom.
Compliance with ONVIF profiles G, S, and T enables interoperability with a wide range of surveillance devices. This camera is housed in an IP67- and IK10-rated enclosure that is suitable for outdoor use in areas at risk of vandalism. It is equipped with a demister, a wiper to ensure that the camera's front glass is free of water and debris, and an integrated heater to keep the camera operational in temperatures as low as -40°F.
