The upgraded Marshall Electronics CV228 All-Weather 3G/HD-SDI HD Lipstick Camera features an IP67 rating for dust and water protection and a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor in a compact form factor. The CV228 can capture up to 1080p video at 60 fps and output said video via the full-size BNC connector on its breakout cable. An included M12 4mm lens is interchangeable and provides an 85° horizontal field of view.
The 10' breakout cable not only has a 3G/HD-SDI connection, but also an RS-485 and locking DC connector to facilitate power and control. A built-in joystick offers OSD control, while the RS-485 connection operates via VISCA protocol to control image parameters. Mount the camera virtually anywhere thanks to its ultracompact form factor and 1/4"-20 mounting thread to attach it to tripods or stands.
