Narrow- and wide-band capable, the MXT500 mobile radio offers 50W of transmission power (the maximum allowed by law) over 15 GMRS channels and eight high-powered repeater channels, and it features split privacy tones for security. With its IP66 waterproof rating, you can count on the MTX500 to deliver clear communication, even in adverse conditions. A microphone, antenna, power cord, and mounting equipment for vehicular installation are all provided, and the adjustable backlit LCD makes it easy to navigate the extensive feature set. Federal law requires a GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) license to operate this radio.
In addition to the radio, this bundle also provides the MXTA23 roll bar and mirror mounting bracket, MXTA24 low-profile antenna cable, MXTA25 ghost antenna, MXTA51 NMO stock antenna and large magnetic base, MXTA38 metallic plate for the magnetic mount, and a radio bracket for the MXT500.
