Broadcom Dual 400G MACSec PHY - BCM81343
The Broadcom BCM81343 is a 16-nm low-power, high-density PHY integrating IEEE 802.1AE MACSec GCM-AES-256b encryption, IEEE 1588, retimer, reverse gearbox and equalizer functions supporting 400-Gigabit Ethernet (400GbE), 200GbE, 100GbE, 50GbE, 40GbE, 25GbE, and 10GbE applications. BCM81343 is designed to support CDAUI8, CDAUI4 electrical interfaces for QSFP-DD and OSFP optical modules.
The BCM81343 is designed in 16-nm CMOS technology to provide a low-power solution and is footprint compatible with the BCM81356 (400G retimer).

- Support 400GbE ports with CDAUI8-to-CDAUI8 interface for QSFP-DD, OSFP retiming/MACSec encryption applications
- Support 200GbE ports with CDAUI4-to-CDAUI4 for QSFP56 retiming/MACSec encryption applications
- Support MACSec in reverse gearbox modes
- 2x50G PAM4 to 4x25G NRZ
- Support 100GbE with CAUI4-to-CAUI4 for QSFP28 retiming/MACSec encryption applications
- Support IEEE 1588 to enable Class-C systems to meet stringent 5G timing requirements as well as ITU-T Y.1731 with Synchronous Ethernet (SyncE) recovered clock outputs
- Support FEC for all data rates up to 400G
- 16-nm process node
