Broadcom Multirate 40-Gb/s 4:1 MUX with DPSK/Duobinary Precoder - BCM84146
Serializer/Deserializer (SerDes) Framer Interface Level 5 (SFI-5.2/XLAUI/OTL3.4/STL256.4) multiplexer (MUX) for use in 300-pin MSA 40 Gb/s modules.
The BCM84146 has an OIF-SFI-5.2/XLAUI/OTL3.4/STL256.4-compliant four-bit wide receive system data interface with a deskew channel operating from 2.488 Gb/s to 2.788 Gb/s. The device multiplexes and precodes data to the serial transmitter (operating from 39.8 Gb/s to 44.6 Gb/s). There is an additional deskew lane for the SFI-5.2/XLAUI/OTL3.4/STL256.4 interface.
