CCX Edge Micro WAP - AP-561
The AP-561 Micro-WAP is a small wireless access point that can provide WiFi connectivity to passengers and equipment onboard an aircraft. In a 1 by 2 by 3 inch enclosure it is the world's smallest aviation grade Wireless Access Point. The size and weight of the Micro-WAP facilitates a large number of installation options.
Software applications are provided by the integrated SystemX Operating System which includes dozens of networking, cybersecurity, data collection, configuration management, and application hosting features.
As a Transport Canada Approved Manufacturing Organization CCX Technologies can provide all documentation required to obtain relevant certifications so that the AP-251 to be installed on any aircraft.
Applications
The AP-561 is a configurable multi-mission platform that is suitable for a multitude of different applications. With a customized version of the SystemX Operating System the AP-561 supports many of the networking, security, data collection and management, and application hosting features provided by SystemX.
Wireless Access Point
The AP-561 can act as a WiFi Access Point for up to 16 devices, and can interface with cabin systems, including SATCOM Terminals for external connectivity.
Local WiFi access can also be provided to that equipment that only supports wired Ethernet based maintenance ports can be maintained wirelessly.
A Secure Voice PBX
The AP-561 is capable of providing a Secure Voice PBX , which can be used to securely route calls from handsets in the cabin through a SATCOM system to the global telephone system.
